413 NE 70th St.

The big condo cake pan plops out another one, this time on top of a bank.
How fitting.
Although, the bank might feel like it’s a monkey on their back these days.
Conversely, the condo peeps will know every time they come home if their bank has gone out of business or not.
One thing though, they do have a nice helipad for helicopters that weigh under 10 lbs.

I love it when architectural detailing looks like a giant, cardboard coaster.

OMG, that truly is the ugliest of them all! Completely lacking in taste. Did they design this one with the objective of being as butt ugly as possible?

OMG! This looks like a lego kit on top of a parking garage! The symetrical balconies look like fire escape landings which gives this facade a back alley tenement look. And that clock tower reminds me of the octagonal Spanish colonial end table my mom had in the 70′s.

The clock will be broken in a year and I assure you will never be fixed. We went through a year or two of clocks-on-condos here in Miami and they are all now stuck at 3:13, 4:29, 12:01 etc. etc. No money to hire a clock repair guy.

Broadway has two such broken clocks. It’s the latest thing.

Key Bank is much too upscale for this site. It needs its own Quiznos and tanning salon.

Cmon guys…you are being so harsh. Even broken clocks are right twice a day.

At first I thought I was looking at the Rekhi Building at 125th and Lake City Way.
OTOH, it also reminds me of Mr. Tock from Seattle’s own Girl Genius webcomic.

This is one cheap condo, can hear the elephant that lives upstairs. BTW, the Quiznos and tanning salon are across the street :0)
