The Callisto certainly is a full palette of brown,
although along with its boxiness it could be confused for a UPS package pick up. Perhaps “The Cartonia” would be a better name.

As for the astronomical reference, Can something this boxy orbit?
The Callisto is definitely orbiting any sense of design.

May we recommend the interior photo tour. link

I lived a ½ block from this building for 9 years, I allow hoped they would tear it down.

When I saw them condoize it, I cried inside, how sad.

Help! Ikea and Cost Plus threw up in my condo! Don’t take the interior tour! Don’t do it! All those “pops of color” might permanently damage either your retinas or your sense of design!

Where have you been all my life? This website is hilarious!!!

I live two blocks from this place, I was dumbfounded when it wasn’t torn down. My husband and I refer to this place as The King Fuglesworth Condos

Are you freakin’ kidding me? $300,000 for 612sqft. That my friends is why my son and I moved to Portland. Truly.. I miss Seattle, but it was no longer affordable for a single parent (we lived in Ballard for 11 years). I was priced right out. Not just out of Ballard, but out of Seattle completely. To find affordable housing we were looking at living in Mukilteo or Lynnwood, etc. With no mass transit (i.e. trains) it just wasn’t worth it. We now live outside the Portland city limits but can walk to the trimet and be in the city in half an hour. No looking for parking (or paying for it), and no hassles what so ever. Seattle is a beautiful place but the greed there has turned it into something ugly.

This project could easily serve as a movie set for a Pulp Fiction sequel.
